East Bank Essequibo : Derick Lewis, who was driving HB 8575 and involved in a car smash up this morning is reported to be in serious condition this afternoon in the hospital.
According to reports, motor vehicles PLL 9826 and HB 8575 were proceeding along the Vergenoegen Public Road, E.B.E, in opposite direction when the vehicles collided. As a result of the collision Tameshwar Persaud, who was driving of PLL 9826, and passenger Ramraj Ameer received injuries. They were taken to the Leonora Cottage Hospital where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
