Students sit Common Entrance Exams

A total of 3968 primary school students will sit the Common Entrance Examination popularly called the 11-Plus this morning compared to 3961 in 2012.

According to the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, 2040 boys and 1928 boys will write the examination at 22 secondary schhools across the island..

Fourteen students have requested permission to write the examination at the age of ten compared to 11 last year. The ministry also reported that 128 students have requested deferrals until 2014
