Essequibo : Investigations are being conducted into a river mishap that occurred at about 1:30pm today in the Essequibo River in the vicinity of Leguan where two boats are reported to have collided.
According to a police report one of the boats with agricultural produce was en-route to Parika from Leguan, while the other boat was going to Supenaam from Parika when the collision occurred.
No report of anyone being injured was received.
