Georgetown : Speaker of the National Assembly Raphael Trotman last evening addressed several issues regarding accusations by Members of Parliament (MP) of biased and misrepresentations during coverage by media outlets of the events that transpire in the Chambers of the Assembly.
The Speaker acknowledged the right for MPs on both sides of the House to put forward such complaints and gave a commitment that all would be dealt with accordingly. This comes in the wake of complaints by MPs Keith Scott and Basil Williams.
