South business complex gutted by fire

Million of dollars went up in smoke yesterday afternoon in San Fernando as fire gutted a business complex located on Allahar Street, La Romain. Diamond Systems Ltd, a computer company; Progmastics, an IT company; Sports Outlet, a clothing company and Trinidad Gaskets, a manufacturing company , were all housed in the complex which was owned by Southern Industrial. Fire Officers were contacted at 4:00 p.m and were on the scene by 4:10. It was reported that the Sports outlet was most affected by the blaze. Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire.
