Georgetown : Police are investigating the murder of Dexter Jules, 23 years, unemployed, of ‘B’ Field, Sophia which occurred about 8:30 a.m. yesterday, at ‘B’ Field Sophia.
Investigations so far have revealed that the deceased had an altercation with a close male relative who stabbed him to the left side chest. The relative then rushed him to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The suspect was apprehended by public spirited citizens and handed over to the police. He is in custody assisting with the investigation.
Once again the Force wishes to laud the efforts of citizens who continue to support law enforcement.
