India finish the fourth day of the second Test against the West Indies with a lead of 229 for three wickets against the west Indies at Kensington Oval..

Despite losing 90 minutes of the first two session due to heavy overnight and early morning showers, solid batting by Abhinav Mukund 48, Rahul Dravid 55 and V.S Laxman give  India  a sizeable lead  t in their second innings.   Laxman is on 72 and his partner Virat Kohli is on 26 not out, they have shared a partnership of 72 runs  for the fouth wicket so far.

 The wickets were shared by Fidel Edwards and Ravi Rampaul , Devendra Bishoo bowled a 27 overs on the trot  without taking a wicket.

Tomorrow is the fifth and final day of the match play will start at 9.30am.
