Soca Warriors to file Contempt of Court proceedings against Football Federation

Port-of-Spain: The 2006 World Cup football team known as the "Soca Warriors" are now preparing to file a case for Contempt of Court against the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF) and
former president Oliver Camps.

This comes after the two groups made their latest High Court appearance in the matter regarding World Cup bonuses owed by the TTFF to 13 members of the 2006 World Cup squad.

The TTFF had been expected to take legal action against former Special Advisor Jack Warner, holding him accountable for its financial accounts, as promised when they last appeared in court in February but according to the players' spokesperson Brent Sancho, the Court and Justice Devendra Rampersad this morning heard that Warner threatened a counter suit against the federation.
