Port-of-Spain: A local soca artiste is among five upcoming artistes across the world now being considered by popular US music channel MTV Iggy to be artiste of the week.
Soca artiste Farmer Nappy who is part of the Machel Montano HD family, is competitng with artises from Italy, Ghana, Denmark and Argentina, for the recognition of artiste of the week, after MTV Iggy reviewed the video of his 2012 composition, "You make me surrender".
MTV Iggy included Farmer Nappy in a round-up of five of the best global bands this week, giving fans the opportunity to vote until midnight tonight for the honoured of being featured on the MTV Iggy homepage marquee along with a tell-all interview.
