Shot couple rejoin cruise

Bridgetown.

The British couple who was shot and injured during a robbery in Bridgetown has rejoined their cruise ship.

Philip Prior and his wife, Ann were attacked March 17th while sightseeing at Hincks Street, Bridgetown..

According to Mr. Prior, the doctors advised them against flying and thecouple  decided the ship would be a good place to recuperate.

Twenty-eight year old, Junior Orlando Hunte of Rices, St Philip has been charged with robbing Mrs. Prior and causing serious bodily harm to the couple.

A second man, Marlon Gooding, of Union also in St Philip has been charged with robbing Mrs. Prior.

They appeared in court earlier this week and were remanded in custody.

The couple is on a three-month P&O cruise around the Caribbean and South America on board the Adonia, which left Southampton on January 8th and is due to arrive back in the UK on April 3rd.
