Berbice : The police today are investigating the murder of Winston Ragnauth of 18 Public Road, Whim, Corentyne, Berbice, which occurred yesterday.
The police say Winston Ragnauth operated a shop at his premises and persons went to make purchase and discovered the shop door open. They called out for him but got no response. He was later found with his throat slit in his bedroom.
A quantity of articles was stolen from the shop and two persons are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
