A ground breaking seminar to provide support and empowerment to schools, churches, the social workers and the wider community in the prevention of suicide among children, teens and young adults will start today.
This seminar is being conducted by Antigua Youth for Christ (AYC) and Choose Life International under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Transformation “Innocence Campaign”.
Facilitator Dr. Donovan A. Thomas, the President and Founder of Choose Life International, a registered body under the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) based in Jamaica is on island to commence the seminars.
