San Fernando: A 14-year-old Form Three student of the San Fernando West Secondary School was denied bail and remanded to the Youth Training Centre (YTC).
The youth appeared before San Fernando Magistrate Alicia Chankar this morning, charged with the attempted murder of his schoolmate Keanu Achong and wounding with intent to cause grevious bodily harm on another student Shanna Williams.
The teen, whose name cannot be released was represented by attorney at law Subhas Panday. The charges stem from an incident at the school on Monday, in which Achong and Williams were severely beaten.
The 14-year-old is scheduled to reappear in court on October 13th.
