Georgetown : Mohabir Singh appeared before Magistrate Leron Daley and pleaded guilty to the charge of stealing a bag of tennis roll, cheese and money on November 6, 2012 at Brickdam. The man admitted of stealing the food and $2,290 from Omar Hussein.
Singh said the act came after he was hungry and snatched the bag from Hussein
The magistrate sentenced the man to three months imprisonment.
