Georgetown: An alleged thief was shot at and arrested on Charles Street, Charlestown today while his accomplice escaped after they allegedly robbed a guest of a hotel located on the same street.
Reports are that the men robbed a Caucasian man as he was leaving the Hotel, unaware that the police patrol was in close proximity, the men were chased but one was shot by the police during his escape bid while it is not clear if he was hit the back of his pants displayed a brown stain that spread quickly. The robber was then bundled into a police vehicle and whisked away from the scene even as a crowd gathered. A nursery school boy detailing what he saw said, “It look like he (the thief man) shit he self when the policeman fire the shot at he.”
