PSC appeal dismissed

The Court of Appeal yesterday dismissed an appeal brought by the Police Service Commission against a High Court ruling given by Justice Elneth Kentish, who granted an interm injunction preventing the Commissioner of Police from announcing promotions of 15 police officers until a court case brought by 16 officers  who were not promoted has been heard in the High Court.

Justice of Appeal Sherman Moore, who presided with Justice of Appeal Professor  Andrew Burgess and Acting Justice of Appeal Kay Goodridge, urged the embattled lawmen to rise above their present challenges and continue to matain their standard of policing.
