Prisoner shot after escaping from Hospital

 

Georgetown :  Today minutes after 1:00am, prisoner Terry Joseph who was a patient at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) and under guard by prison officials managed to escape. He was seen by ranks of a mobile police patrol that was in the vicinity and during efforts to arrest him was shot and injured to his left thigh.

 

He is back at the GPHC under guard.  

 

Terry Joseph has been charged with piracy and is on remand at the Georgetown prison.
