President Granger joins Hindu community in Diwali celebrations

Georgetown: President David Granger, Prime Minister, Mr. Moses Nagamootoo and several Ministers of the Government, Friday evening, attended the Indian Commemoration Trust’s Diwali programme, which was held at the Indian Monument Gardens. The President lit the symbolic diya to mark the celebration of the holiday, which will be observed by Hindus Saturday.
