Georgetown: The governing People’s Progressive Party Civic (PPP/C) will be heading into general and regional with President Donald Ramotar as their Presidential candidate for elections slated for May 11.
General Secretary Clement Rohee also announced that discussions are still ongoing for the Prime Ministerial Candidate and the list of candidates for the party.
Romatar led the PPP/C into its first minority government in 2011 but Rohee has defended the Head of State and refused to place the blame at his feet.
