Member of the ruling People’s Progressive Party (PPP) and former Local Government and Regional Development Minister Harripersaud Nokta launched a publication narrating his journey from childhood to politics under a book entitled “A Journey, A Challenge.”
The book was unveiled at Red House with complimentary copies for those who turned out to witness the launch.
President Donald Ramotar Former President Bharrat Jagdeo and several government officials witness the launch of the publication.
The 12-chapter book captures Nokta’s family and personal beginning along with his humble upbringing and childhood experiences, travels and political career.
His first book was published in 2010, “Genesis of the Pakaraima Mountain Safari, the road a Patamona dream.”
