Port of Spain: Police Constable Dharwin Ghouralal has been charged with the murder of eight-year-old Daniel Guerra. Ghouralal appeared before San Fernando Magistrate Roger Ramlogan earlier today. On February 18 Guerra left his grandparents’ home to purchase something at a nearby parlour but never returned. Two days later his decomposing body was found at the Taruba River. Ghouralal was detained on Thursday and placed on two identification parades over the weekend. He is being represented by attorney Shaun Teekasingh and is expected to reappear in court tomorrow.
