West Coast Demerara : Police Sergeant Shivram Murugayya was today charged with driving under the influence and unlicensed motor vehicle.
He appeared before Magistrate Ms. Adela Nagamootoo at the Vreed-en-Hoop Magistrate Court where he pleaded “not guilty” to both charges, and was placed on bail.
He will return to court on January 14, 2014.
