Police reveal details on Six Roads’ shooting

Bridgetown.

The police have released the names of the two men shot  two days ago at  Six Roads St. Philip and the nature of their injuries.

They are Jason Blenman 19 years of Station Hill, St. Michael, and Shamar James both of whom had to be admitted to hospital following the incident.

According to public relations officer, Inspector David Welch, officers on patrol nearby responded to the sound of shots fired and found Blenman suffering from a gunshot injury to his back.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance and is in stable condition while James drove himself to hospital on his motorcycle.

He was shot in the front of his torso and is in serious but stable condition.

Inspector Welch says police units quickly intercepted the suspected vehicle at Best Road, Lodge Road, Christ Church.

As a result, a suspect is in custody and a firearm was recovered.
