Essequibo : During yesterday, police Constable Leono Patrick of the Anna Regina Police Station, was reported to have consumed a quantity of poisonous liquid.
He was admitted to the Suddie Hospital where he succumbed at about 2 a.m today Wednesday April 08, 2015.
The police have since launched an investigation.
