Georgetown: Senior officials of the Guyana Police Force Wednesday have confirmed that there is an exchange of gunshots in Buxton Village, East Coast Demerara between police and suspected bandits. Ranks requested backup which is being deployed on the ground. The official also stated that they suspect that the gunmen are those who made the daring Camp Street jailbreak and are on the run.
