Police graduants urged to be good ambassadors

P  Georgetown: Twenty-five recruits Thursday graduated from the Recruit Course 307 becoming full-fledged ranks of the Guyana Police Force.

Commissioner of Police (ag) Leroy Brumell, at the official ceremony said there was a rise in road fatalities and Police Force will begin to stake out drinking spots to monitor drivers.

He explained that licences of drivers involved in fatal accidents will be suspended because alleged offenders are being granted $100,000 bail.

He urged the Ranks to be good ambassadors of the force, and don’t be lazy on the job.
