Essequibo : During yesterday police ranks conducted a drug eradication operation at Imbaimadai, Upper Mazaruni, during which an half-acre field of cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants was found and destroyed.
The field comprised about 300 plants at an average height of 30cms. A camp was also found and destroyed.
No arrest was made.
