Police Force receives Vaddio IR Management Learning System from US Government

Vaddio IR Management Learning System

Georgetown :  the United States Government presented the Guyana Police Force with a Vaddio IR Management Learning System valued at $US 23,000.00 at a simple ceremony at the Police Officers’ Training Centre, Camp Road, Georgetown.

The US Ambassador to Guyana Mr. Perry Holloway in making the presentation explained that the equipment will be of significant assistance in local and international training more particularly to help in the fight against transnational crimes.

Commissioner of Police Mr. Seelall Persaud, who received the equipment on behalf of the Police Force, expressed sincere appreciation to the Government of the United States for their continued support under the CBSI to build capacity in the security sector in Guyana and gave the assurance that the equipment and the training provided will be put into effective use.
