Police Force boosted with all terrain vehicles.

Georgetown : The Guyana Police Force this morning received two Honda ATV vehivles from the Guyana Gold Fields Company, a Canadian mining exploration organisation.

Human relations manager of the Canadian company, Ayaana Caldeira in handing over the keys to the police Force said the company's operation is in the hinterland area of Guyana and the all terrain vehicles will assist the police to patrol the area.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Leon Brummel, in accepting the gesture reiterated that the police capabilities to respond to reports in areas such as Aranka and Buck Hall in the hinterland where there is a Police outpost will be enhanced with the addition of the two vehicles.
