Upper Demerara : Police ranks conducted a drug eradication operation at Old England, Upper Demerara River yesterday, where a field of cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants about half an acre in size was found.
About 5,000 marijuana plants, ranging in height between one foot and four feet, along with an abandoned camp were destroyed.
No arrest was made.
