Diego Martin: Western Division police officers have arrested three men between the ages of 19 and 25 with a quantity of cocaine weighing 280 grams and a black and silver 380 pistol with four rounds ammunition at a shack at Second Trace, Bagatelle.
Police say they acted on a tip off yesterday morning when they made the discovery and that later in the afternoon again acting on intelligence they went to an abandoned house in an area called the “Pine” at Bagatelle where they found another 380 pistol and 43 rounds 380 ammunition. No one was arrested.
Around six last evening they also went to an abandoned lot at Cizan Trace, Blue Basin, where one chrome .38 revolver was found.
Police say this brings to four the number of firearms recovered by Western Division police in a matter of two days. The officers also searched several houses in the Diego Martin area but nothing further was found.
