PNC offers condolences to family and friends of umpire Clyde Duncan

 

Georgetown : The Leader, Chairman, members of the Central Executive and the wider Membership, of the People’s National Congress Reform, express condolence, to the wife Fay, children (Tracey Duncan-Clarke, Joanna, Troy and Susanna), relatives, friends, and members of the cricketingfraternity in Guyana and the West Indies, on the sad passing of umpire Clyde Duncan, at the age 57, yesterday in Trinidad and Tobago following his fight with cancer.

A Teacher and Headmaster by profession, Mr. Duncan officiated in 21 ODIs and six Twenty20 Internationals and performed third and fourth umpire duties for numerous other international matches while he was a member of the ICC International Officiating Panel.

The party says for his stewardship to national and international cricket, Mr. Clyde Duncan deserves a National Award.
