East Bank Demerara : Today at about 9am the driver of motor lorry GMM 2171 was proceeding along the New Hope Public Road, East Bank Demerara, when it is alleged that pedestrian Hilton Nedd, 35 years, of Diamond, EBD, attempted to cross the roadway and was struck down by the vehicle.
The driver of the motor lorry has since been detained and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
