Patrick Powel was told to appear tuesday to defend the charge of failing to hand over his license firearm.
Powel was charged after the shooting death of Kingston College student Kajeel Mais last July 1st.
Mais was in a taxi on his way to a fete at the Meadowbrook High School. The Taxi was rear ended in Havendale by a BMW X6.
When police searched Powel Belgrade Loop, St Andrews, two BMW X6 was seized
