Pacifists Denounced the U.S. Interventionist Policy

US-Imperial-InterventionThe fourth Seminar for Peace and the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases recently denounced the interventionist policy of the United States and the imperialist counter-offensive against the progressive governments of Latin America.

State terrorism, economic and media war against Venezuela, the blockade against Cuba and the illegal occupation of territory in Guantanamo were among the issues addressed in the final declaration

The text also condemned the deployment of military forces worldwide, the increase of bases on foreign soil and the so-called humanitarian intervention.

The pacifists promised to continue the struggle for the closure of the illegal prison in Guantanamo and the return of the land occupied by the military enclave to its rightful owners, the Cuban people.

They also expressed their determination to continue supporting the struggle of Puerto Rico, to end this and other modern forms of colonization, and reaffirmed their support for Latin American integration.

US Blockade against Cuba
