Berbice :The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Bath Public Road, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara (ECD), and which resulted in the death of Randy Cummings, 19 years, of No. 5 Village, West Coast Berbice (WCB).
Investigations revealed that Quincy Bailey, 32 years, of No. 5 Village, was driving motor car PRR 7426, allegedly at a fast rate, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a coconut tree.
Quincy Bailey and passengers Kunna Thom, 30 years, of Hopetown, WCB, and Randy Cummings received injuries and were taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where Randy Cummings was pronounced dead on arrival. Kunna Thomas and Quincy Bailey have been admitted for medical attention.
