North West District : Just around 1:00pm today, a motor lorry transporting eight persons up a hill at Mattew’s Ridge, North West District in the vicinity of Farm End, toppled while going up the hill. According to the police the driver of the vehicle had lost control.
Dead is 18 year old Leandre Perez of Port Kaituma. Seven other persons received injuries and were treated at the Mattew’s Ridge Hospital.
