Liliendaal, Georgetown- President of Ecuador Rafael Correa handed over the mantle of chairmanship of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) to Guyanese President Bharrat today, promising his full support. President Correa promised the Guyanese President to count on his support to better deliver what he needs to do.
Predent Jagdeo was challenged by the outgoing chairman to set a dignity for a consolidated and strengthened UNASUR.
The UNASUR summit came to an end yesterday at the Guyana International Conference Centre.
