New United States Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Larry Palmer, presented his credentials to Acting Governor General Elliott Belgrave earlier this week.
A career dpilomat, he previously served as US ambassador to Honduras and as charge d' affaires in Ecuador.
Palmer has had several other dipomatic posting in the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Paraguay, Korea and Sierra Leone.
