New houses almost competed

Bridgetown.

Housing developments at Lancaster, St James and Parish Land, St Philip will be competed at the end of summer and by Christmas respectively.

Minister of Housing Michael Lashley, told Trakker News yesterday both phases of the Lancaster development, containing 87 houses are almost finish with most  of the one and two bedroom houses fully constructed and painted.

Lashley said the contractors will be returning to the site within ten days to start implementing the final infrastructure.

Half of the 120 houses being built at Parish Land, St Philip have been competed so far, the entre project is expected to be finish by Christmas.

General Manager of the National Housing Corporation (NHC) Lynette Napoleon-Young  said the public response to the two housing projects have been tremendous.

She stated that the Board of the NHC will be meeting shortly to allocate the houses at Lancaster.
