New charges against cops

Bridgetown.

Two policemen who are accused of indecently assaulting three American female students of the University of the West Indies, appeared in the District "A" Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon on four additional charges.

Constables Donavan Price, 33 and Anthony Straker were charged with engaging in wilful public misconduct, which amounted to abuse of public trust, in demanding $40 payment for transport in a police vehicle from each of the students and a fourth woman they took to Raja Apartments.

Price was separately charged with criminal damage of the gate at the apartment complex.
