New boss takes over at the Caribbean Development Bank

Bridgetown.

Dr Warren Smith, officially assumes the office of president of the Caribbean Development Bank(CDB)  from tomorrow.

Smith was elected president of the Barbados based, regional bank at a special meeting of the CDB board of governors in October last year.

At that time he was the acting vice president of operations at the CDB.

Smith is a  Jamaican  and   a past chief executive officer of LAIT.

He succeeds Dr Compton Bourne who officially demits office today.
