Port of Spain;The Ministry of Health have advised that Nestle International has recalled four varieties of Kit Kat Chunky Bars and an Easter Chocolate egg product after it was discovered that pieces of plastic were found in the items by seven people abroad. Although Nestle Trinidad does not import the products that were affected chanmces are they might still be on the market locally.
the recalled products are :
Kit Kat Chunky Peanut Butter (best before September 2013 to February 2014)
Kit Kat Hazelnut (best before September to October 2013)
Kit Kat Chunky Fudge (best before September to October 2013)
Kit Kat Chunky Caramel (best before June to July 2013)
Anyone who is in possession of these products are asked to call the Ministry's Chemistry Food and Drugs Division at 623-2834.
