Police are investigating a murder which occurred at Fisher Pond, in the central parish of St. Thomas this morning.
Dead is 53 year old Moreta Forde an employee of telecoms company, LIME. Her body was discovered fire officials and neighbours in her home.
Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police Force Inspector David Welch, told Trakker News firemen responded to a house fire just after three o'clock this morning at Fisherpond and discovered the woman's body on the scene.
The inside of the house was affected by the fire but the structure was not destroyed.
