East Coast Demerara : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at about 7:45pm yesterday, at Lusignan Public Road, East Coast Demerara (ECD), and which resulted in the death of Ogle Kirton, 57 years, of Lusignan, ECD.
The Police says Ogle Kirton was driving a motor cycle along the roadway, when it is alleged that he turned across the road and in so doing collided with an oncoming mini- bus.
Ogle Kirton received injuries and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he died while receiving medical treatment.
The driver of the mini-bus is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
