Georgetown : The Detectives in ‘A’ Division are investigating a Robbery under Arms, which occurred about 1pm on Friday June 03, 2016, committed on Otis Smith, a 48 year old missionary attached to the United Pentecostal Church of $19,000 by two men, one armed with a handgun, on Church Street, Georgetown.
The police sqays that the victim had just left an office in Church Street, when the suspects drove up in a motor vehicle. The armed assailant then existed the vehicle, dealt the victim several lashes to his head and shoulder and relieved him of the cash and escaped.
No shots were fired, and the suspects are yet to be arrested.
