Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler has called the attack on Governor of the Central Bank Dr DeLisle Worrell dangerous.
He made the comment during a live airing of the People Business on the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation.
"Both Prime Freundel Stuart and I have said it and I will repeat it here, I have absolute confidence in DeLisle Worrell as Governor of the Central Bank. I have absolute confidence in his intelligence. I have absolute confidence in his integrity and therefore I don't have repeat that every time the Opposition goes on a frolic", Sinckler said.
He added the political attacks were dangerous because they also serve to destroy the image of the Central Bank and the professionals who worked there.
