Essequibo : A miner who police had on their radar for quite some time, was arrested at his home yesterday located at 111 Miles Mahdia, Potaro River, Region 8, for Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking.
A search of his premises revealed 10.9 kilograms of compressed cannabis concealed in two ten-gallon plastic pales.
The suspect, 52, who goes by the alias “glasses” is expected to be arraigned before a Magistrate at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court today Tuesday November 28, 2017.
