LuncheonGeorgetown: Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Roger Luncheon Thursday says $40.9M would be spent to construct an upper flat of the Brickdam Station’s lock-ups, since there is probably space constraint expanding the existing flat horizontally.

He further added that Cabinet has also approved a $39.7M contract for phase two of construction works being executed on the Brick Prison at lot 12 Camp Street, Georgetown. Dr. Luncheon added that $51.8M would be expended to construct the court yard of Lusignan Prison, East Coast Demerara.  Last October, Cabinet had approved $50.93M to reconstruct a section of the Brick Prison.
