Mayor warns bar owners

frankies  Port of Spain Mayor Louis Lee sing, is sending out a warning to four Bar owners in the Ariapita Avenue area. He is warning they can be served stiff penalties for selling alcohol without liquor licence. The four bars named are La Habanna, Frankie's Tequila Twist and Roscoe's. Their licence actually expires on Easter Sunday and if they are found to be selling alcohol anytime after that the appropriate steps will be taken. 

It is against the law to sell alcohol without a liquor license, if caught all alcohol you have in stock will be seized and you would be brought before the courts. Drinks are not suppose to be sold on the pavement Mayor Lee Sing said, he gave his assurance that the Municipal Police Officers will be monitoring these bars as of Easter Monday.
